Random Thoughts From Today

Long John Silvers chicken planks are good - and the little crunchy things that fall off of them are even better.

I really wish I had time to go see a scary movie, maybe I can do that on the upcoming Friday the 13th.

It totally sucks that I get off work at 8:00 am on Sunday mornings and football starts at noon. At least this week the Chiefs play the 3:00 game.

Dude, I love football.

On October 14th, my family's annual hayride and hot dog roast is taking place and I have got to figure out what I am making to take down there. It's for family and all the friends we want to invite so it usually turns into a huge event and involves lots of food and 4 trailers of hay.

I hope it doesn't rain on the hayride again this year.

I hate it when I start reading two different books at once because it takes longer to find out what happens at the end.

My room smells yummy because I have been burning my wedding cake candle.

I have got to get an FM transmitter so I can listen to my iPOD in the car.

Why do I have to be such a dork?

Seriously, I'm a dork.

Woo Hoo, my Dad is coming home from Iraq in less than 1 month.

Wow not that is one Random post. :) I love rand posts. I once had a blog titled, Really Random Info.

1. Long John Silvers... what kind of fish is it? You can't just call it 'fish' I want to know what kind of fish! Cod perhaps?

2. I don't do scary movies. But if I did, Friday the 13th seems appropriate.

3. You should stop Panera bread at 9 a group of us from church meet there as a 'sunday school class'... except it's cooler cause there is coffee and such. :)

4. Hayride sounds great.

5. Oooh I want an FM transmitter... right now I just have a tape deck adapter... but it works.

6. You're a dork? Man I hate it when that happens to me.

7. Your dad's in Iraq? Hmm, how did I not know this. You could come to our new Family Readiness group [military family ministry] that I'm starting at our church. Not exactly sure what that means...but it should involve Pizza.

Long John Silvers is probably fish parts we don't want to know about.

Scary movies rule!

I would love to meet with you guys, but I'm a diehard fan of my grandma's and we have Sunday dinner every week - 1 1/2 hour drive for me, so I leave town at around 9:00 so I can get there and help her cook.

Hayride is great, if it weren't in Cassville, MO you should totally come.

My new car doesn't have a tape deck so I don't have that option.

At least I'm not the only dork.

I don't think I had mentioned my Dad on the blog before. I'm just too sad he is gone.

Yep, Sunday dinner at grandma's totally trumps Sunday school at Panera.
