Hayride Tonight

Well, tonight's the night for my family's annual hayride and hot dog roast. I called my Aunt Edna last night and confirmed that she was indeed stirring up several big batches of homemade hot chocolate. Good stuff. I can't wait to run and play with all of my cousins. Too bad I fell down the stairs last night and my right foot is killing me.

It seems like this might be the first time in years it's not going to drizzle or rain on us. Yay! Of course, it will be pretty chilly, but that will just make the bonfire and the hayride more fun.

Before tonight's festivities begin, I am going over to Mt. Vernon's Apple Butter Makin Days. In fact, I am taking off work in about 4 minutes and I've gotta rush home to do some last minute packing for tonight, then I'm off to the races. Going to be a full day for me, with no stopping and no chance for sleep until waaay later tonight. So, wish me fun.
